Joe Scartz is an accomplished marketing executive, and as Velocity Commerce Group’s fearless leader, he is responsible for overseeing all digital commerce strategy and execution, including mobile, social, and traditional e-commerce. With more than 20 years of quantifiable success in the field for brands such as Harley-Davidson, United, Budweiser, Clorox, and Hershey, Joe has an impressive history of helping agencies and Fortune 500 companies meet their strategic and financial goals. His role at VCG has proved to be no exception. Joe’s other roles include devoted father of two, die-hard Red Sox fan, and co-host of the podcast Mo + Jo’s Epic Tech Talks.
Rami Odeh helps brands grow their business in a complicated e-commerce landscape and better understand the intricacies of an ever-evolving digital retail ecosystem. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated how to lead product manufacturers and brands like OfficeMax/Office Depot and Sears in developing and executing strategies to create measurable significant returns. He specializes in e-commerce content, fulfillment, negotiation, and merchandising initiatives, helping clients to optimize their short- and long-term planning for channels such as Amazon, Walmart, Target, Jet, Zulily, Kroger and many more.
Christa Klausner is a key architect in Velocity Commerce Group’s operations and organizational structure. She is heavily focused on building out and developing the operational process around the team’s core offerings, along with integrating into clients’ already established processes, teams, and departments. Additionally, she has been pivotal in establishing key strategic frameworks that drive efficient decision-making. Since VCG’s inception, Christa has supported and overseen a variety of CPG, retail, service-oriented, B2B, and consumer electronic accounts. She began her career working on PepsiCo brands and has also spent time serving as head coach for junior volleyball clubs. As a former collegiate volleyball player herself, Christa still likes to stay active, whether it’s working out while on vacation or playing with her Lab Mix, Bentley, in her own backyard.
As consumer browsing and buying habits shift, so must our methods to meet them. Joe List understands this better than anyone and answers the call daily by serving up relevant content at the right moment as Velocity Commerce Group’s lead for strategy and activation across commerce, media and social platforms. Prior to joining the agency, he worked as part of the Amazon Media Group and spearheaded paid social for several notable CPG and food brands. With experience in Amazon Media, programmatic media, and influencer activations, as well as a resumé boasting global brands like General Mills, Procter & Gamble, and Dyson, Joe is VCG’s trusted go-to for all things social commerce. He’s also an avid skier and a talented cook who regularly shares his culinary creations under the Instagram handle @thedudeonfood.
Tracy Nguyen has more than 15 years of experience leading complex technology and software development in multiple areas, including in-store retail technology, mobile and web application development, digital signage software, Alexa skills, and digital marketing campaigns. Her extensive background working with global software development and digital production teams for brands like American Airlines, Frito-Lay, and Bank of America allows her to manage million-dollar budgets with ease and keep projects on track. Aside from being a certified Project Management Professional at Velocity Commerce Group, Tracy also is a wife and proud mother of two who enjoys cooking and baking.
Josh Allison, Velocity Commerce Group’s own resident Amazon expert, brings with him years of experience in CPG brand manufacturing and account management, most notably with Wilton Brands and Nebraska Book Company. In addition to his extensive knowledge of SEO, onsite optimization, search marketing, and merchandising tactics, Josh has a proven history of increasing brand growth, expanding Amazon’s presence, and successfully driving consumers to products. His passion for providing people with the best possible brand experiences and connecting them with products that can improve their daily lives is the driving force behind his customer-centric focus. Josh is also a twin – who has twins! – as well as an avid fisherman and long-time guitar player.
Becca Kuo is a digital marketing specialist who’s an expert in all aspects of Amazon Advertising Platform, Vendor, and Seller Central. She has worked for brands such as Payless, Sam’s Club, and Target, and analyzed data from Amazon Marketing Service, Google AdWords, and Google Trend. Equipped with her e-commerce expertise and strategical savvy, Becca is able to create models of excellence in product detail pages and marketing strategies by effectively leveraging experiences from consumer insights and product development. Her unique skill set also allows her to collaborate with cross-functional teams to grow revenue and ensure multiple brands meet their goals. Outside of work, Becca can be found traveling abroad or having her own adventures at home alongside her two dogs and husband/fellow foodie.
Nate Riegler is a marketing manager master who has touched every facet of business from data analysis to product design over the course of his career. His impressive client list includes brands such as Google, BMW, State Farm, Wells Fargo, and United Airlines. At Velocity Commerce Group, Nate approaches marketing as both a science and an art as he negotiates contacts for global supply chain, builds engaging digital experiences, and plans digital marketing campaigns that deliver real results. When he’s not working hard for his clients, Nate can be found spending quality time with his two wonderful children or giving back to his community via his volunteer work at his local food pantry.
